About Kat O'Brien

Kat O'Brien is an American artist and illustrator based in Southern California. Born and raised in Austin, Texas, she moved to Laguna Beach at the age of 18 to pursue her art career at the Laguna College of Art + Design.
Recently graduated, her senior thesis body of work discusses the nuances of the word "Cowgirl" and how it is perceived in the modern day.
